The team successfully obtained planning permission for a conversion of a listed building to 9 flats, new row of 3 terraced houses and a separate block of 9 flats. Our planner had a very good relationship with local authority and also played a vital part in reducing our affordable housing contribution.

We spoke to lots of local designers but chose ADARA because their planners have worked for the council and know the policies inside out. We were kept updated throughout the whole process and have just been granted approval.

We chose Adara because their in-house planners previously worked as senior planning officers in our area. The process was truly collaborative, and our incredible plans were prepared and submitted before the agreed deadline. We also loved the fact they are one of the few architectural practices to do design in 3D.

Our favourite part of working with Adara was the fact all our designs were created in 3D which gave us such a good idea of what the spaces would look like before they were ever built. We were also kept updated of progress thought the entire process. We will 100% be calling Dominic the next time we ever move.

What impressed us most about the design process was that Paul spent a lot of time getting to understand exactly what we wanted before putting pen to paper. He also designed different options for us to explore. This was a major investment in our future, and Adara managed and delivered it beautifully.
