WHAT THE CLIENT WANTED

Properties often have untapped potential. We have worked on many properties that have an unused loft space, oversized room, or barren patch of land that is calling out for something better. This is where we found ourselves at the start of this project. The client had a big family and a strip of forgotten land beside their house that was doing nothing for them. We were tasked with extending into that land, to expand their property and boost the family’s quality of life.

OUR CREATIVE SOLUTION

We love it when our clients get involved. When a client is passionate about their needs it spurs us on to create a design that is not only unique, but also fits their needs like a glove. By working closely with this client, we were able to come up with a space configuration that suited their love of gathering friends and family together. A loft extension and a two-storey side extension allowed for two extra bedrooms, and the rear extension increased their entertainment space significantly.

OUR FAVOURITE FEATURES

Open plan living areas often offer an opportunity to create a real wow factor. When this family said that they wanted a space to entertain, we took them seriously. The almost entirely open plan ground floor stretched out into the garden thanks to a full wall of stunning bifold doors, ideal for summer parties. The generous island offered a robust centrepiece, ideal for cooking and socialising with friends and family.
